How to Write an SEO Standard Quality Blog Post?
Quality articles are very important for a blog. Why?
Obviously, search engines love fresh content, meaning new blog posts that aren't plagiarized from existing blogs. Second, of course, blog visitors also love blogs that provide useful information to find solutions to problems that visitors have.
So how do you write quality posts that meet SEO standards?
A very basic step before writing a blog post is to do some keyword research so that we know what exactly internet users are looking for. Of course, the keywords are in accordance with the theme of our blog, not the origin of the booming keywords which are of course fatal for our blog. As far as I can remember, I have shared about how to do keyword research, please reopen it.
After determining the keywords that will be the target of the blog post, we are ready to create a quality blog post with SEO standards. Pay attention to other important factors when writing the following articles.
Choosing an Article Title
The first thing to do is define the blog post title. Make sure the title contains the keywords we researched earlier, don't have to be too long which is important to represent the content of our blog posts, 5-7 words are enough. If it is too long, it will reduce the keyword density in the title. Most importantly, don't sacrifice keywords in blog post titles just to chase bombastic titles. For example, if you want to change the post title "Ipad 3 Price Dropped Again" simply change it to "Gosh! Ipad 3 Price Dropped Again".
Choosing Article URL
The blog post title is too long, so not everything will be included in the blog post URL. For blogger users, we can change the URL in the following ways. To the right of where to type our blog post, there is a menu called permalink, click on it and select a special permalink. We just need to type the end of the blog post URL. For example, if the URL we want is http://www.dreamtoblog.com/2021/06/how-to-write-a-qualified-article-seo-standard.html, then what I would type is how-to-write-quality-articles standard-SEO (don't forget the dash "-" is included in the URL). That's how to make URLs SEO-friendly.
Using Labels In Every Article
Use labels for our blog posts. Choose the most appropriate label for the blog post. To enter a label click the Label Menu to the right of the column typing blog posts, separate them with commas if using more than one label. If your blog has a mixed theme and does not focus on one topic, put a label gadget on the sidebar to make it easier to flow PageRank to blog post pages.
Putting Meta Description on Every Blog Post
The meta description will be displayed in the snippet of Google search results, so make sure this meta description also contains keywords. It doesn't have to be too long, a meta description of 150 characters is sufficient. How to put a meta description in every blog post? I have shared it before, please open it.
Creating Optimized Blog Posts
Blog posts that we create should follow the following basic rules of search engine optimization:
Article length of at least 500 words
Each keyword is repeated at least 3 times in the blog post.
Keywords that appear first must be in bold or italic
Use standard language so that the quality of the article doesn't decrease
Create a keyword paragraph in the blog post and tag it Heading H2 or H3.
Posting Images In Blog Posts
Make sure the images posted on the blog contain the title and Alt tags. Alt tags function to tell Google about the content of the image, because Googlebot cannot recognize the image yet. Try to keep the image file size not too large, so it's fast when loading blog posts. One more thing, we recommend that you upload images when writing blog posts, don't be hosted in other places such as Photobucket, et al. Because sometimes image hosting providers experience downtime, so they can't display images on our blog during peak hours.
Putting Links in Blog Posts
If you really need to post a link in a blog post, then follow these few rules:
Make sure all links open in new tabs.
Distinguish between outgoing links and links to your own blog page. For outgoing links, use rel: "nofollow".
Urgent!!! Try to keep in our blog posts at least two links to other posts. Interlinks like this are very important to improve the ability of search engine robots to index our blog. In addition, internal links also function to level the PageRank of each blog post.
Make sure our blog posts are useful posts (wanted) for blog visitors
The goal is simple, so that blog visitors are interested in reading other blog posts, or even come to our blog many times. Of course, this is important to maintain the reputation of our blog in the eyes of search engines and blog visitors. The eight ways above are enough to help us improve the quality of blog posts to meet SEO quality standards, hopefully making our blog articles indexed. If you feel the need, please continue SEO optimization of other blogs by getting quality backlinks.
