I promise you, if you can implement this methods which I will share below, your blog will have an unusual flow of traffic, not just for one day or a week, but continuously, since some of this methods which i will share here is a one time requirement (hope you have installed the stats plugin, because there will be a drastic increase in your traffic).
The truth is that we all want more and more traffic to our websites and blogs (just like Pepsi motto, ask for more).
Before I proceed, I would love to tell you another simple truth in blogging, which is:
Getting traffic to your website/blog can be hard, especially if you are just building a brand new site.
But the truth can not be hidden,  Traffic is so important for an online business.  It can help it get more exposure, sales and make more money for its owner (you of course).
When you double your traffic, many times your earnings will double too.
Just take a nice and comfortable console chair, get a cup of coffee and read these guidelines which will guide you on how to increase the traffic to your site and keep your readers always wanting more.

Step 1: Always Write a Humorous Post

I do notice something online, which is applicable to all niches, and this is mostly done by the authorities in most niches, they always add a bit humor in their post, no matter how serious the article is, they always make you smile when reading their article, and this will certainly get the reader to finish digesting the content.
You can take a clue from this and get more subscribers, because your readers will always want to read a useful article  which is always informative, interesting and humorous, too. Nothing is as appealing on the internet than a little humor. One thing about humorous articles:  they share well on social network sites, and this will get more readers to know your website.
Lots of pictures and a quick punchy style often work. Also make sure you remember to share it on various social networks to get it re-shared by your friends and your friends’ friends.  You might be skeptical about this, because it may not be the most targeted traffic in the world, but sometimes it’s good to get a load of people on your site, which will get more readers to your site, and there are definitely advantages to this.

Step 2: Always Write a Long Article

Have you ever sat down to discuss something with a blogging friend and you start mentioning websites? As you mention more than top ten related websites, you might hear something like this:  That guy posts is always long and informative posts.  The truth is that if you are always writing long tutorials/informative posts,  then you are likely to attract some natural links to it (jeez, this is my secret to building the best links so far).
I have come across a number of bloggers who would prefer to copy a full blog post without linking to it’s original source (which will come back to haunt their blog, but they think that they are always wise) but good blog owners know the value of pointing their visitors to great content.  These kind of bloggers don’t need to spend ages writing it, yet they have provided it for their visitors, who will be extremely grateful to them.  It is good practice in the blogging world to always link to great content.  If you give your visitors a good experience, then you are going to be more popular yourself.
In case you didn’t know, some SEO kings do agree that search engines reward sites that link out to quality relevant content.  Google wants their users to be satisfied with their search results. A site that has its own great content AND links to other great content is a real asset, and the search engines recognize this and rank them higher. Although you should not over do this just for the sake of ranking, try it once in a while.

Step 3: Do Build a Facebook Fanpage:

Some bloggers do over look little things like building a brand related Facebook fanpage where they can get more readers.  I always advise friends to create a Facebook fan page.
Bad Method:
Some bloggers create a Facebook fanpage which is strictly about their site or product.  This action will not get you fans, (people to like your page) because you are just talking about one particular thing.
Best Method:
Just create and make the Facebook fanpage related to your niche, you can make it about your niche in general.  This will get a lot of people to click and like the page, and i hope that with this little action, you are building a fan base of loyal readers who will always be sharing your posts with friends and in turn, get you much more traffic.
Here is an example:
If you have a site about cars then you might have a fan page called ‘I love Samung Mobile Phones’ but not  to a particular Samsung product, like Samsung galaxy s4. It will certainly be hard to get likes, since not everyone is using the Samsung galaxy 4.

Step 4: Always Submit Your Blog Url To blog carnivals

Have you ever heard of blog carnivals?  Okay, I will explain this as simple as i can, blog carnivals are a collection of links about a certain topic, that are published on someone else’s blog.  You just need to submit the link to your blog post with a brief description.  If you are accepted into the carnival, you will get a oneway backlink to your post, and sometimes to your home page as well.

Step 5: Do Hold a competition in Your Blog

I know that you must have participated in a competition before, and competitions posts are always the most shared and commented on.  Holding a competition on your blog will motivate readers to keep visiting your blog to see the winner and to look for future contests or giveaways.  Organize a contest and give away a prize that is worth more than $40 – $60 and above.  This is often enough to get people interested.  You can even contact other bloggers in your niche who might be kind enough to share the details of your competition on their blog with their visitors.
I really love creating a competition on my blog, because competitions can always get you more Twitter followers, Google+ friends and Facebook fans.  You can always ask as a favor or make it mandatory to do the following:
  • Like your Facebook page
  • Share your homepage link on Facebook
  • Follow you on Twitter
  • Tweet your homepage
After this, all winner can then be drawn out of those who email you with evidence that they’ve completed the requirements or you can use a widget such as RaffleCopter to help you select a random winner.  The simple truth is that you can then gain traffic from all the people who have socially bookmarked you, plus the attention from other bloggers.
